Hello! I’m Afrobella and I’m obsessed with coconut oil. These are my confessions. I use it in my cooking. I use it on my skin. I use it in my hair. I use it to remove my makeup sometimes. And lately, I’ve been literally slathering myself with the stuff from head to toe, thanks to a new body care brand I discovered. Organic Fiji is everything that my coconut oil obsessed heart dreamed of!
I scooped up the Organic Fiji organic extra virgin cold pressed coconut oil for body, massage and hair, marked down from $20 to $9.99 at TJ Maxx (I got mine in cucumber melon, but that variety isn’t on the website). I also got the organic cold pressed coconut oil soap in tuberose. That was $5.99, marked down from $12. So far, so AMAZING. This is exactly the kind of product I need for Chicago winter – a pure oil that can be used to layer with other products to seal in all the moisture.
There are just two ingredients in the soap – organic cold pressed coconut oil, and their tuberose blend of aromatic plant extracts and essential oils. The soap smells incredible, and makes my skin feel like silk. I’ve used the cucumber melon oil on my body and hair, and LOVE it. I love a multi-use product and I love a product with pure ingredients – this is so up my alley and I found it while looking for a kitchen mat at TJ Maxx. It was meant to be!
Organic Fiji products are made in Fiji, using cold pressed coconut oil to preserve the antioxidants. The soap was the first product made by the brand, and apparently it’s from a 400 year old Fijian recipe. I love a brand with history and culture behind it. Now I’m totally obsessed with Organic Fiji and want to try everything they make. I’m totally buying the night blooming jasmine coconut oil moisturizing lotion next! I LOVE anything jasmine. Wish they made the oil for body and hair in jasmine too. A girl can dream.

Lovely scents except not thrilled about melon.
Wonder if I can get this brand over here?

I have recently found a series of natural products on mamilan.com which includes creams and soaps, I tried them and the results are amazing! The products clean the skin, give it moisture, clarify it, remove the dead layer of skin. I highly recommend you all to order the products and try them on , the sure thing is you won’t regret – because the results are absolutely amazing !

I agree with the uses of coconut oil. I recently went natural almost two years ago and I was experiencing dry hair. I stopped using the curl products on the market and started using natural oils and coconut oil on my hair was amazing.
