On My Way to NYC for Bali and the Circle of Sisters Conference!

Bellas, sometimes I can hardly keep up with myself. It’s like, another weekend, another trip! This summer was exceptionally travel heavy, and this fall is proving to be more of the same! As you read this, I’ll be on my way to New York City. My friends at Bali Intimates are bringing me along with them to participate in a special workshp on shapewear and fall trends at the Circle of Sisters Expo!

What is the Circle of Sisters Expo? It’s New York’s largest expo for women of color and hosts a variety of speakers, authors, seminars, inspirational services, R&B and gospel concerts, in addition to the more than 200 vendors and companies selling unique items and services. Sponsored by super popular radio stations WBLS-FM and WLIB-AM, the event sounds like an amazing experience studded with celebrities like Steve Harvey, Hezekiah Walker, Donnie McClurkin etcetera, and the whole shebang will end with an amazing concert featuring Marsha Ambroisus and Musiq Soulchild.

I’m going to be there as a Bali blogger ambassador, to meet and greet anyone with questions about shapewear and fall fashion trends, and I’ll be co-hosting the fashion workshop alongside incredibly accomplished stylist Jen Rade who has told people like Pink and Angelina Jolie and Cher what to wear. I know! I can’t believe it either!!
