To this very day, I can count Lauryn Hill as one of the top five best concert experiences I’ve ever had. I saw her in 1998 at the Bob Marley Festival in Miami, and she blew everyone away.
She did the same thing last night in New Zealand. (Link courtesy my beloved Oh No They Didn’t)
And she’s still spitting hot fire. How amazing would it be to have Lauryn pop up unexpectedly at a concert? I’m seriously hoping she joins the lineup of Lilith Fair — which is making its glorious return this summer. How awesome would THAT be?

No other female star has ever come close to what Lauryn Hill brings to the stage! Many have tried, but none have succeeded. I miss you, Lauryn! I still play The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill constantly.
I didnt realise Ms. Hill was performing at all…maybe I’ve been under a rock. I have heard, nevertheless, that The Fugees may be getting back together for concerts to raise money to help Haiti.
Love Lauryn!!
I love Lauryn. I’m still angry at her though. She was scheduled to perform at Prince’s Club 3121 in Feb 2007. She never showed up. I was just glad we got our money back.
She looked and sounded good. I was afraid that she might not. I hope she’ll comeback strong and healthy.
She is indeed a classic, even though she is still quite young!! I enjoy her sounds!!
I miss L-Boogie. She was dope!
I wonder how she feels about performing old material. The world wasnt’ ready for what she was on in ’02. And the “great comeback” was derailed in ’07.
