Bright, Fun, Bakers Shoes on State Street!

It’s officially spring in Chicago, even though some days feel like it more than others! Schizophrenic weather aside, tis the season for vibrant colors, maxi skirts, and sandal season is almost here! I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect pair, and last Saturday I headed out to the new and improved Bakers Shoes on State Street in Chicago, to check out the new store and the new styles!

The grand re-opening of Bakers Shoes newly revamped State Street location was hosted by my dear friend and frequent stylist Aramide Esubi of The Sassy Peach! Love her and I was so proud and happy she got tapped for this event. She was the PERFECT hostess for the bloggers who attended and the customers who needed her stylish help!

Bakers has some super cute new sandals on deck — afforable, on -trend, colorful, fun and vegan! I chose the Autumn sandals in ORANGE and look!

They matched my cardigan so perfectly, I wanted to wear them out the store! (You’ll learn more about this cardigan in an upcoming post!)

Bakers is all about super vibrant colors, and colorblocking. Saw some amazing choices in store!

Bakers is also home to the H by Halston collection — these shoes and tote are from there.

Bakers also has super cute clutches now! Love the range of shades!

And a killer accessories section. Some of the earrings were a little too Basketball Wives for me, but they did have some cool stuff too!

All of the coolest shopgirls were rocking this fringed necklace. But I couldn’t decide between that and this one that has a rough-hewn druzy look to it.
