I’m SO excited for this weekend! This evening I leave for Washington DC – I’m taking Amtrak from Chicago to DC with my amiga Luvvie, so if you don’t already follow us on Twitter, now’s a great time! We will be documenting the fun of a road trip and photographing the scenic beauty of the journey. Definitely expect a blog post to come — this will be my first ever train ride of this length and I’m excited to see what train travel is all about!
So why will I be in DC? Because I’m on the closing panel at the Blogging While Brown conference, which is titled “Break Through Bloggers.” I’m SO excited and honored – and I’ll be sharing my views and experiences in blogging alongside Baratunde Thurston and Anil Dash – two men who have amazing careers and experience in the realm of public speaking.
While I’m in DC I do have some events to attend and LOTS of my fellow bloggers to meet. It was so nice to meet you on Saturday. It was a really nice event.
Really enjoyed the conference and the conversations surrounding social media, technology and how it can all come together by sharing the knowledge with each other.
