I’m brand new to the wonderful world of event planning. I’ve hosted events in the past, but never have I worked with someone to bring an event to life from scratch. Together with Nichelle of Stylemom – I was able to achieve an incredible first in my blogging career!
On Thursday October 7 at the Starr Bar of the Ritz Carlton Miami Beach, we hosted Oasis Pink – relate, refresh, release. The intent of the event was to greet and celebrate the attendees of Blogalicious 10, with pampering treatments, cocktails, little bites and some yummy eye candy. And through SO much hard work (and the generous support of our sponsors).
Everyone who came to Oasis Pink got pampered to the nth degree. Cocktails by Chambord Vodka and manicures with Ginger and Liz nailpolish. Guests lounged by the bar and checked out an array of Cover Girl Queen Collection products on proud display. At the end of the evening, guests left with gift bags and got to indulge with items by Pantene, Ideeli, Avon accessories, and of course – Cover Girl Queen Collection.
I could tell you more, but why not just show you?
The event turned out to be absolutely amazing. Everyone who came seemed absolutely enraptured, and at the end SO many people came up, gave us hugs, and said thank you.
NO – thank YOU all for coming and for celebrating with us! We kicked off Blogalicious 10 in STYLE!
Thanks to EVERYONE who helped to put this event together. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Dear afrobell
A big thank you to you and StyleMom for hosting such a fabulous evening! Your event was the first thing I attended after flying in to Miami and I cannot think of a better way to have kicked-off my fabulous Miami-Licious Blogalicious weekend! Thanks so much for the eye candy, the pampering and the fabulous Oasis Pink cocktails. Even more importantly, thanks for reminding us of the importance of raising awareness about breast cancer, it has the ability to touch all of us no matter what shape, size or creed and I applaud your efforts for making us “think pink”.
