Being a beauty and style blogger means one thing come holiday time — you are hard to shop for. I don’t mean to be, and I think I’m a pretty easy-to-please person, but for some reason my relatives and loved ones are feeling some kinda pressure in the gift department. So I’m going to make it easy on everyone, and give you all a glimpse into what’s on my wishlist this year. Be forewarned: it’s as eclectic as you may expect!
Custom handmade disco ball earrings from Patricia Fields. $28 and bangin’. These oversize studs are begging for some equally oversize natural hair to set ’em off. I’m the bella to do it!
The bus stop coat by Wilson’s Leather — $229. I’ve been on the lookout for the perfect plus size leather coat for a while now, and this just might be it. I need to try it out to be absolutely sure, but I love the shape of this and I think it’d be quite chic and figure flattering.
The Sesame Street tote bag from American Apparel — $16. If you’re buying me a present, you already know what a Sesame Street fan I am. Right now American Apparel has Sesame Street gear on sale. Love. This. Bag. (and PS: American Apparel, we don’t have to talk about how sad it makes me that this Betty Davis tee doesn’t come in plus sizes right now, but we should later).
The secret artwork of Dr. Seuss, ranges from $800 to $1500 per print (if available). I think Theodore Geisel, AKA Dr. Seuss was a genius. And I absolutely adore his artistic sensibility. At Dr. Seuss Art, a range of his secret, unpublished paintings are for sale and I’m aching to own one or two of them in my lifetime. The one you see above is titled Golden Girl.
This one is called “Every Girl Should Have a Unicorn.” See the girl riding a unicorn in the lower right-hand corner of the artwork?
Cool for School boots by Naughty Monkey — $109. I was introduced to the Naughty Monkey brand by my homegirl, unabashed shoe diva Luvvie. These boots are everything I need — flat yet elegant, tall yet comfortable for wide calves. I’m already planning outfits around these boots I don’t yet own!
Real leaf jewelry by Laurali Designs on Etsy. I love jewelry that is both bold and natural-looking. Nothing captures that better than a leaf motif, and there are no prettier leaves than real leaves. Laurali Designs makes both necklaces and earrings from real leaves, electroplated in 24 karat gold. Delicate and stunning. Totally my style.
Will I find any of the above under my Christmas tree? Well, I may have waited too long to make this list public. But I’ve got a birthday coming up soon enough, so *hint hint*!
What’d you think of my choices, bellas? What do YOU want for Christmas?

I have been coveting some great black leather boots with lots of buckles on them, a colorful and figure-flattering pullover sweater, and a Tiffany key-on-a-chain. More practically, I need a new digital camera, one of those steam mops, and a new vacuum!

Oooohhh..I luv both of those earrings! I myself, would love a smartphone, ie. Blackberry – I’m still stuck in the dark ages with my cell phone. I’m not asking for much 🙂 There’s a lot more on my list but I won’t take up too much space on here. 🙂

you’re wish list gifts are all different and nice, though a little expensive for me. For christmas the thing that i really want is love and to be with my family but lots of yarn is a strong number 2 🙂

I would luv to have that lipstick. I’ve been looking for it since I saw a photo in Bobbi Brown’s latest makeup book (I think page 79). 🙂
