Saying Thanks, Giving Back

This June, I made a ton of new friends at a very special Welcome to Chicago party thrown for me by the two wonderful bloggers you see above (although my hair is threatening to eat her face) — Luvvie of Awesomely Luvvie and Karyn of The Fabulous Giver. Together they make up The Red Pump Project and they do everything in their power to bring awareness to the impact of HIV/AIDS on women and girls.

At the Welcome to Chicago party they threw for me, they gave out many gifts. So when I met up with them at the Blogalicious 09 kickoff party, it was my pleasure to give them some gifts, courtesy of my friends at Behrman PR. These were originally intended to be raffle prizes at the party, but came a little too late. But just in time to make Luvvie, Karyn, and the women of the Chicago Women’s AIDS Project happy! Thanks to my amigas at Behrman, a great package of items including Cures and nailpolishes by Jessica Cosmetics got donated to some very deserving bellas.
