Hello there everyone! We’ve been having extensive problems with our web host (GoDaddy) since a server migration they did last week. Please bear with us, as we are in the process of moving Afrobella over to a new host. You’ve probably noticed that there are very few images on the site – GoDaddy has locked our image folder due to heavy processor use. No one was really able to explain it and we figured rather than fight them on it, we’d just move to a real web host. So please bear with us as we migrate the site – we’ll be back up and fully functioning as soon as we can!

Edited Thursday 16 at some ungodly hour of the morning — we’re back up and running! After a successful site switch from GoDaddy to Bluehost, the page is loading much quicker and I have a greater capacity than I did before. If any of you notice any bugs or dead links, please let me know in the comments!
Who did you switch to? Currently with GoDaddy and curious about alternatives.

Thanks for this blog post. I’m currently using BlueHost to host my websites and so far, they seem to be pretty good. I’m not sure, though, what others think about the specifications of the hosting plan they offer, as you could get more from another host.
