I just saw this on the news and was like whaaaat?? One of my favorite actors, Morgan Freeman, has been seriously injured in a car accident.
Apparently Media Takeout broke the story, and it made the rounds of the gossip sites, but now CNN’s reporting it, which makes me concerned that this is indeed a serious injury. The news is breaking and it leaves so many questions. Like, what the heck is Morgan Freeman doing cruising around Mississippi in a 97 Nissan Maxima at 11 p.m. on a Sunday?
According to reports, Freeman and his wife still reside in the area. The accident sounds terrifying — apparently his car went airborne, and the jaws of life were required to extract the venerable actor and his passenger. I hope they both pull through OK. I hope to update this later with happier news.
** update Morgan Freeman’s recovering having broken his shoulder and arm. His rep expects him to make a “good” recovery.
Morgan you are in my prayers!! Bella, Morgan is from MS. He has a home and a business there. As for the 97 Nissan uhhh, not so sure about that one.
I just heard the news too. I am praying for him. I love Morgan Freeman and I want him to be around for many years to come.
Bella, I like the idea of Morgan riding in a 97 mazima. It means he is being true to himself. He has to need to show off, he money and we know he has money.Only broke people need to show off.

I really just kind of see him in a suit, sitting in the back of a Maybach, cruising through the streets of LA en route to a studio. (yes, that’s my mental image of the lives of most celebs).
