For $75, you can indulge in rose oil, hazelnut, evening primrose, and sweet almond oil luxury, and 10% benefits the BCRF. I’ve tried the Tangerine Aromatic Bath and Body Oil, and it. is.
Ford auto, http://www.fordvehicles.com/warriorsinpink is running a campaign, "Warriors in Pink" for the month of October. 100% of the proceeds (not from the vehicles) will be donated to the Susan G Komen foundation. i agree with the others, some way some how the same attention we give breast cancer needs to be applied to any disease which may affect us.

Maybe the pink products that support breast cancer can be a model for movements against AIDS, obesity and heart disease -- issues that are wrecking the black community.

Imagine Kimora, Mariah Carey and Mary J. Blige promoting a fabulosity campaign that funds fitness clubs or inexpensive organic foods to move against obesity -- but maybe the image isn't marketable? There must be something wierdly appealing about breast cancer images--not the illness--that makes this stuff marketable.

Anyway...I'd love to have a pink food processor and a pink veggie steamer--maybe with glittery handles to make it truly Kimora -- oh or leopard print packages of tofu...

I completely agree with you! I see several other ribbons -- autism has the puzzle, Aids is red, yellow for troops. But I am not sure if there's a designated month where so many companies and consumers can throw their weight behind those causes. I'll have to investigate.

Cute products! I love the fact that products are being created to support breast cancer research. I think manufacturers should start creating more products for other illnesses...there are already a few for AIDS, but not nearly as much. They should come out with yellow products to support the troops, or other colors for other diseases, cancers and causes.
