Now I’m Back

June 20th, 2007

I disappeared for a day or two because we had an unscheduled family visit.

As you can see, I was too busy coloring and playing “lion” to make it back online. (I wish we had this on video — her lion roar is hilarious and adorable!)
Little Afrobella Dominique is getting bigger and brighter and more wonderful each day. And because I hardly ever get to see her, when I do, my whole life goes on hold. Work deadlines loom ahead, but tomorrow - I promise it’ll be back to the regular afrobella posts. Promise.

“How does a lion go?” “Roar!!” Awww. I can’t stop looking at the picture. She’s so, so adorable. They just left on the super shuttle to the airport at 6:30 a.m., and I miss her so much already! And now, I’m on my work deadline. =(

    ‘Bella,
You are blessed with a beautiful family. I have saved your Dad’s sermon on my desktop and am thinking of sharing it with my intended.

    Good Morning Bella,
I must say I’ve become addicted to reading your post and became somewhat faint (laugh) after going back & forth for about 1 1/2…when I finally realized:( there would be no post for the day. However, I over came my sadness(laugh, again). To my eyes surprise there was a post this morning!!! I can honestly see why there wasn’t a post yesterday, baby afrobella is a doll and I hope you guys had a blast….have a great day.

Her hair is so pretty. Just out of curiosity, what products does her mom use? I have a 2 year old daughter and I’m still searching. I currently use kids organics.

Bridgette, I think we used a little bit of Carol’s Daughter Hair Milk that day. We also spent a lot of time playing “makeup” and doing our hair. I’m also getting her into the Miss Jessie’s Baby Buttercreme, and Curls makes a great kids’ line, Curly Q. Check em out!
