Hello, I've tried Carol's Daughter Almond Cookie and loved it!!! The one thing that I noticed was that it did not irritate my skin at all considering the fact that I have a small case of eczema. If I could afford to buy her products I will but as of now I cannot. I would like some advice on my girls hair. My daughters have natural hair and the status of their hair is dry, kinky, and short. I am not going for the chemicals!! If I wash their hair I have to style it wet because if I let it dry I would have to rewet it for the fact that it could not at all put a comb through it, thats how tough it is. What products will make it more manageable, grow longer, and styles that are acceptable for their ages (7 and 11) and also by their peers (self esteem issue) of course.

I was just in Sephora and nearly puked smelling the Khoret Amen products. The Tui products, on the other hand, smell DIVINE. As does the Rosemary Mint Shampoo and the Black Vanilla leave in conditioner....but what all should know is that most of the products are easy to make at home. The main ingredient appears to be corn oil....add your own lavendar and yummies and VOILA!!!! natural homemade beauty.

People complain about everything...I personally thank God for the products. We are fed chemicals from everything from arm deodorant to water. We wonder why everyone has cancer. No duh! Thanks to Carol's Daughter we don't have to worry about what is absorbed in our skin the biggest organ of the body. I love the fact that the Rosemary Shampoo, Hair milk and black vanilla conditioner has saved me time doing my 8 year old's hair. She has long natural hair, chemical free, and curly. It usually takes two and a half hours to wash and comb it out (that was with Pantene or Creme of Nature Shampoo and conditioner). NOW it takes one hour and I'm done. I personally love it. Now my whole family uses the products. My advice is to start your children young using products on the inside and outside of their bodies that are chemical free and natural. Kudos, to Carol's Daughter as a company and the founder. God bless ya'll.

[...] Also, my stock has risen in the beauty product-producing community. Whereas before I couldn’t convince someone to mail me a free sample of anything, somewhere along the line, companies started getting my address and sending me stuff. As a product junkie, of course I love that! My response has been to rave about the stuff I really really love, while also mentioning that not all of the products worked well for me. (a perfect example is my recent Elasta QP giveaway. Love the Mango Butter and the DPR-11, but if I let that Intense Conditioner touch my tresses, I come out of the shower looking like Buckwheat). Or I’ll do a very constructive negative review, as I did for Carol’s Daughter Khoret Amen, which made my hair smell funky like an old batch of collard greens. But I need to find a happy balance. [...]

I am a young Filipino woman with very straight, fine, long hair. Although my hair strands are fine, I have a lot of hair, which makes it feel a lot thicker than most girls with thin hair strands... Would the Black Vanilla Leave In Conditioner work on my hair type or will it make it appear and feel more oily? If I don't wash my hair at least once every day and a half or so my hair gets oily on top. What do you think? Should I purchase it?

I would be diggin' these products, especially the boddy butters, if they didn't have patchouli in it... ugh. I hesitate to drop $15 on a jar that I may have to return. Why do a lot of manufacturers equate natural with patchouli?? Has anyove ever thought that perhaps I'd like to smell like watermelon bubblegum???

I applaud Lisa Price for her business initiative. She clearly has tapped into an under served market. However, I've yet to really find a CD product that worked for my hair.
Maybe the Tui Hair Smoothie -- but I wasn't impressed enough to pay that much money for it.
To each his own though.

My husband felt the same way about the smell of the Khoret Amen Hair Oil. He hated it. I was trying to convince him that it smelled nice and woodsy because I had spent so much money for the bottle but after a while I got sick of the smell myself. I do however like the smell of the Tui Hair Oil.
