Remember that cool Carol’s Daughter event I went to a week or so ago?
A little bird told me that it’s coming to the Sephora on Powell Street in San Francisco today! That’s right, today, Thursday September 7. Lisa Price will be giving hair consultations from noon to 7, and Mary J. Blige will make an appearance from 5:00 to 7:00. Call (415) 362-9360 to book one-on-one consultations. I did at the last minute, and that’s how I got to meet Lisa.

To complete the look, I would use a smooth, fat crayon on my eyelid from the lashes to the crease, and smudge it with my fingers to blend. I have a ghetto one I bought on Frederick Street in Port of Spain seven years ago, and it’s still going strong. I wish I could tell you what brand it was, but the label rubbed away years ago. But this Pop Beauty Glitter Stix in gold looks awesome. I think I’ll treat myself this weekend!

I remember soooo long ago when I was much younger and Mary J. Blige first came onto the scene and I loved her…I see her now and I can’t even believe how gorgeous she is. I don’t think she is that much older than me, but gosh I wish I could look that good!!!
