I love Rae’s delicate songs, Like a Star and Choux Pastry Heart. Bless her. I always have love for ladies who aren’t afraid to step away from the norm, who express a unique style. Funny, because on her VH1 Soul countdown, she picked Beyonce for her number one video! Their fashion senses couldn’t be more different, I think.I plan to try twisting out my hair this week. I might have alot of time for at home beauty treatments on my hands, if Ernesto decides to terrorize Miami. Just when I was hoping we’d escape unscathed this hurricane season. I’m approaching this week with extreme trepidation.

WOW, I’ve never noticed how much these ladies look alike. I LOVE CBR and her style. She’s such a refreshing and much-needed change of pace in the music scene. La Baker is an icon indeed, I’m sure CBR would be honored to by the similarites.

I love corrine’s music and I think shes just adorable and yes I agree she does look like Josephine . I wanted to do my hair something like hers sorta… well maybe more like Janelle Monae’s, just really a natural feel. I just recently got it cut over the summer but fall will be here soon and winter then after, so im already planning to grow it back. I love the way natural hair looks vs chemically proccessed hair.
